Chocolate Mint Sticks - cooking recipe

1/2 c. butter
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. peppermint extract
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. light cream
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
green food coloring
1 1/2 sq. chocolate
1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Melt 1/2 cup butter and 2 squares chocolate together; cool. Beat eggs; gradually add sugar.
Beat well.
Add cooled chocolate mixture, vanilla and 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract. Mix in flour.
By hand, stir in nuts.
Spread batter into greased 9 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool.
