Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    4 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Combine butter and sugar; blend well, being careful not to let butter get too soft.
    (Best to mix with hands.) Gradually blend in flour; mix well.
    Pat and press in 9 x 13-inch jelly roll pan. Prick with fork.
    Put in fridge for 1/2 hour.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 5 minutes, then at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes, or until light brown. (Watch closely; don't let it get too brown.)
    Remove from oven; cut into squares.
    Sprinkle with white sugar.
    Store in tin, not in Tupperware!
