Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. white syrup
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar, water and syrup.
    Cook to hard ball stage when tested in cold water.
    Add peanuts; cook until syrup is color of shell of peanut.
    Remove from fire.
    Add butter and baking soda; stir well.
    Pour onto buttered trays.
