Sugar Free Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dates
    1 1/4 c. water
    1/2 c. prunes
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 stick margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. flour with 1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. walnuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Put first four ingredients together and bring to boil, then simmer 5 minutes.
    Take off heat and mash.
    Add margarine and vanilla; let cool.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix well, pour in 8-inch square pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Adjust baking time for high altitude.
