Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. corn meal
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 large eggs
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 Tbsp. lard
Preparation
    Sift all dry ingredients together.
    Beat eggs and buttermilk well.
    Mix with dry ingredients.
    Add hot shortening.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
