Fruit Cocktail Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 egg, beaten
    1 big can fruit cocktail, drained
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients; beat egg until light.
    Add fruit cocktail.
    Mix and pour into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Before baking, mix nuts and brown sugar and sprinkle over top of cake mixture. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cool.
    Cut into squares.
