Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 pounds tomatoes, skinned, cut up
    6 green peppers, chopped fine
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    2 tbsp. salt
    1 quart vinegar
    1/4 cup whole cloves
    1/4 cup allspice
    4 sticks cinnamon
Preparation
    Tie spices in loose weave cloth. Combine all ingredients in large pot. Cook for 2 1/2 hours. Can in hot jars.
