Souper Meat-N-Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cream of mushroom soup
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. onion, finely chopped
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 c. mashed potatoes (regular or instant)
    1/4 c. mild Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly 1/2 cup of the soup, beef, onion, egg, bread crumbs, parsley and seasonings.
    Firmly press the mixture into a 9-inch pie plate, forming a shell, and bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes.
    Spoon off any fat.
    Frost with mashed potatoes and top with remaining soup and cheese.
    Return to oven and bake 10 minutes more.
