Fettuccine With Creamy Mustard Chicken Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9 oz.) pkg. fresh spinach fettuccine
    3/4 c. heavy cream
    1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
    1 1/2 c. shredded or diced cooked chicken or turkey
    1/2 c. chopped roasted red pepper or pimiento
Preparation
    In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook fettuccine until just tender, 2 to 3 minutes.
    Drain well.
    Return pasta to pot. Add cream and mustard to pasta in pot.
    Cook over medium heat, tossing, until well mixed and hot, about 2 minutes.
    Mix in chicken and red peppers.
    Heat through.
    Serve immediately.
