Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground round steak
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. breadcrumbs (Italian)
1 egg
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce (Italian)
juice of 1 lemon
lemon slices
parsley
Preparation

Combine meat, salt, water, breadcrumbs and egg.
Mix well and shape into small balls.
Set aside.
Combine sugar, tomato sauce and lemon juice in a saucepan.
Simmer about 3 minutes.
Add meatballs and continue to simmer about 45 minutes.
Transfer to a chafing dish.
Set on low heat.
Garnish with lemon slices or parsley (if desired).
Yield: 3 1/2 dozen.
