Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. water
1 large egg white, beaten stiff
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nutmeats
Preparation

Boil sugar and water until forms a hard ball in cold water. Remove from heat and stir slowly into stiffly beaten egg white until it becomes thick.
Add vanilla.
Drop by teaspoon into buttered pan or waxed paper.
Makes 1 pound.
