Chocolate Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie shell
Preparation
    Add cocoa, shortening and butter and melt over hot water. Combine sugar and syrup in saucepan. Bring to a quick boil for 2 minutes. Add cocoa mixture. Pour slowly over eggs, stirring constantly. Add vanilla and pecans; mix well. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Cool. Top with whipped cream.
