Deep Dish Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 large sweet potatoes
    1/2 c. softened butter or oleo
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 large can evaporated milk
    2 deep dish pie shells
Preparation
    Cook potatoes; cool slightly.
    Place in mixing bowl; beat until smooth.
    Stir in butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Mix in spices, vanilla, salt and milk.
    Pour in shells.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 70 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
