Buttercream Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of salt
    1/4 lb. butter (1 stick; can use half oleo)
    1 c. or a little less sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook the milk, cornstarch and salt until thick, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
    Cool.
    Beat butter with sugar.
    Add vanilla.
    When blended, add cooled mixture gradually.
