Vegetable Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. beef roast
    2 large onions
    3 large potatoes
    1 sweet pepper
    2 c. cabbage
    1 can each: corn, pinto beans, peas and lima beans (canned or frozen)
    garlic (optional)
    2 qt. tomato juice
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 cloves garlic (optional)
Preparation
    Cook meat until well done in a large pot with plenty of water. When done, add vegetables and tomato juice.
    For fat-free soup, leave off meat and use 3 beef bouillon cubes.
    Cook until done, approximately an hour.
