Sunday Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 to 6 lb.) boneless rump roast
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1 c. water
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Place roast in deep roasting pan, fat side up.
    Puncture meat with meat fork.
    Pour vinegar over.
    Let stand 15 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Add water to pan.
    Cover and bake at 400\u00b0 for 3 1/2 hours or until
    meat is tender, adding additional water if needed.
    About 15 minutes before meat is done, uncover to brown the top.
    Skim fat from pan.
