Ginger Molasses Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. molasses
    1 egg
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking soda, cloves, ginger, salt and cinnamon.
    Set aside.
    Melt shortening over water and cool.
    Add sugar, molasses and egg.
    Beat well.
    Add dry ingredients and mix. Chill.
    Roll into balls.
    Roll in sugar.
    Do not flatten.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
