Cheesy Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    3 c. sifted flour (all-purpose)
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Grate cheese very fine.
    Cream cheese with butter; add flour, paprika and salt.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Roll dough on floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cut in strips about 1/2-inch wide and 4 inches long or may be pressed through a pastry tube.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not brown.
    Makes about 7 dozen sticks.
