Ranger Joe Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shortening or margarine
    2 c. granulated sugar
    2 c. brown sugar
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    5 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    4 c. Rice Krispies
    4 c. oatmeal
    2 c. coconut
    1 c. nuts
    2 c. raisins or chocolate chips
Preparation
    Mix shortening or margarine, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla well.
    Mix flour, salt, soda, salt and baking powder together.
    Add the well mixed dry ingredients to sugar mixture.
    When thoroughly combined, add Rice Krispies, oatmeal, coconut, nuts and raisins or chocolate chips (for variation, use butterscotch chips).
    Dough will be very stiff.
    Bake in moderate oven about 10 minutes.
    Do not overbake if you like chewy cookies!
