Peach Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. dark or light brown sugar
1 c. butter, softened
1 (29 oz.) can sliced peaches, well drained
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs, separated
3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

In small saucepan, combine brown sugar and 4 tablespoons butter.
Melt and stir to combine.
Spread on bottom of 9-inch round x 3-inch deep cake pan.
Arrange peaches over brown sugar in concentrated circles.
In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and cinnamon.
In large bowl, beat remaining butter with sugar until creamy.
Beat egg yolks.
Alternately beat in flour mixture with milk and vanilla until well blended.
In small bowl, beat egg whites to stiff peaks.
Fold egg whites into batter.
Spread over peach slices.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until cake tests done.
Cool on rack 10 minutes.
Turn cake onto plate.
