Gift Eggnog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 qt. whole milk
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    freshly ground nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat eggs in a mixer 3 to 4 minutes on high. Place sugar and flour in the top of a double boiler. Add eggs and half the milk. Cook over hot water until thick. Remove pan from heat. Slowly stir in remaining milk and vanilla. Cool. Pour into 1-quart glass jar or bottle. Store in refrigerator until ready to use.
