Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. plus 3 Tbsp. water
5 Tbsp. flour (self-rising)
1/2 c. coconut
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Separate eggs (reserve whites for meringue); put egg yolks in double boiler or heavy saucepan.
Stir until smooth; add sugar, 2 tablespoons water and 5 tablespoons flour.
Continue to stir until smooth; add evaporated milk, water and coconut.
Stir until well blended.
Cook over medium heat until thick.
Stir often while cooking.
Add vanilla; mix and pour into baked pie shell.
