Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. rolled oats
1 1/2 c. chocolate bits
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Add sifted dry ingredients, oats and chocolate bits. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
