Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 c. ketchup
    1/4 c. vinegar
    4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    few drops hot pepper sauce
    4 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 20 to 30 minutes or until sauce reaches desired consistency, stirring occasionally. Use as a basting sauce when grilling hamburgers or chicken and/or use as a condiment.
    Store in the refrigerator.
    Yields about 1 1/3 cups.
