Old-Timey School Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, well beaten
    3 c. plain flour
    1/3 c. powdered milk
    2 Tbsp. yeast
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. Crisco
Preparation
    Melt Crisco in 1/4 cup water; let cool.
    Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
    Mix dry ingredients together, then add Crisco mixture.
    Add yeast mixture and mix well.
    Fold in eggs and knead thoroughly.
    Let rise until mixture is double in bulk; punch down and then let rise again.
    Make into rolls.
    Let rise and bake at 400\u00b0 until golden brown.
    Always keep the dough warm.
