Scalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head cabbage, shredded
    crushed crackers
    pats of butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    milk
Preparation
    Cook cabbage until transparent and drain.
    In large greased casserole dish, layer crushed crackers with layer of cabbage.
    Put pats of butter on top and salt and pepper to taste.
    Pour milk over casserole until crackers are soaked.
    Bake in low oven (275\u00b0 to 300\u00b0) for 1 1/2 hours.
    If you want top brown, uncover for last 15 minutes and turn the oven up.
