Broccoli And Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    5 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. fresh broccoli, chopped
    3 Tbsp. green onion
    2 c. Cheddar or Colby and Jack, shredded
Preparation
    Melt butter in small saucepan. Stir in flour, salt and pepper to create a paste. Heat milk in a large saucepan. Add broccoli, onions and butter paste to milk and cook until vegetables are tender and the soup is thickened. Add cheese and heat until melted. Do not scald milk; cook over medium heat. Tastes great with slice of homemade bread. Serves 8.
