Onion Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. parsley flakes
    2 c. uncooked rice
    2 c. cold water
    1 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients.
    Add cold water and butter in heavy saucepan.
    Turn heat high; when mixture boils, reduce heat to medium-low.
    Stir once with fork.
    Cover tightly and simmer 12 to 15 minutes, or until all liquid is absorbed.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
