Golden Crowns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. scalded milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 cakes yeast
    2 beaten eggs
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1 cube melted butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Combine
    first 4
    ingredients
    and
    cool
    to
    lukewarm. Soften the yeast in
    the
    lukewarm
    mixture.
    Add and mix well the eggs and flour.\tLet
    rise
    until
    double
    in
    bulk. Punch down. Shape into small rolls the size of a walnut. Roll in the melted butter, then in
    the sugar, raisins, nuts and cinnamon. I
    put
    them
    in an\tangel food pan in rings until full.
    Let rise, then bake at 350\u00b0 about 45 to 50 minutes.
