Crisp-Tart Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, shredded
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 oz. chopped pimento
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1/2 c. oil
Preparation
    Mix together cabbage, onion and green pepper.
    Sprinkle with salt.
    Pour 1 cup boiling water over all.
    Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour.
    Drain and toss with pimento, celery seed, mustard seed, vinegar, oil and sugar.
