Stewed Apples With Cider - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 fresh apples
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. apple cider
1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
dash of salt
Preparation

Peel apples and cut into 1/2-inch slices.
Saute apples in butter in skillet.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Add cider, lemon juice and salt.
Simmer, uncovered, until tender.
Add spices, if desired.
