Scottish Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. unsalted butter, softened
1 c. sugar
5 c. unsifted flour
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Beat in flour 1 cup at a time.
Divide dough into four equal pieces.
Put each piece in round 8-inch pan; prick dough with fork.
Bake in 275\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until pale brown.
Cool in pan 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and cut into wedges.
Sprinkle with sugar.
