Hot Cider Punch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. cider or apple juice
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. whole allspice
1 stick cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sherry
orange and lemon slices
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients.
Bring to a boil and simmer 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and add sherry.
Do not boil after sherry has been added.
Add orange and lemon slices.
Serves 10.
