K'S Strawberry Meringue Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 egg whites
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
12 soda crackers, finely crushed
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
1/2 lb. marshmallows (large)
1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped
1/2 c. broken pecans
Preparation

Beat egg whites and baking powder until frothy and soft peaks form.
Add sugar gradually, beating until whites are stiff and glossy.
Add vanilla.
Fold in finely crushed cracker crumbs (from the 12 soda crackers) and the coarsely chopped pecans.
Spread in buttered 9 or 10-inch pie plate, building up sides to form shell. Bake in 225\u00b0
oven for 35 minutes or until lightly browned.
