Bishop'S Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, beaten separately
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. coarse English walnuts
1 c. dates
1 c. cocktail cherries, cut
1/4 lb. butterscotch or chocolate bits
Preparation

Combine eggs and sugar.
Beat well.
Sift dry ingredients together; add nuts and fruit last.
Bake in moderate oven at 300\u00b0 for about 45 minutes.
