Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
1 Tbsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. baking powder
2 c. chopped onion
2 eggs
1 can beer

Preparation

Mix dry ingredients well.
Add onion and eggs.
Stir in beer, approximately 3/4 can, until right consistency.
With spoon, drop into deep fryer and cook until golden brown.
Serves 2 to 3 dozen.
