Kentucky Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
1 1/4 c. Crisco oil
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated
2 Tbsp. hot water
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation

Mix sugar and oil.
Add egg yolks, cinnamon and water.
Then add flour, pecans and pineapple.
Beat egg whites and fold in last.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Then, mix 1 cup powdered sugar and juice from pineapple and pour over cake while hot.
