Ingredients

2 c. sugar (cane sugar makes the end product more creamy)
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter or flaked coconut
3 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
Preparation

Melt butter.
Add sugar and cocoa and mash together.
Add milk.
Stir well, then bring to a rolling boil for
1 minute. Take off stove and add remaining ingredients.
Stir as you add this last group of ingredients.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
