Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. dark brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
3 eggs
1/8 tsp. salt
3 slices bread
1 c. raisins
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Place sugar in top of double boiler.
Butter the bread, then dice and sprinkle buttered bread over the brown sugar in double boiler.
Add raisins.
Beat eggs, milk, salt and vanilla together. Pour over bread.
Do not stir.
Place over simmering water and cook for 1 hour; the brown sugar will form a sauce.
Serve warm or cold.
Turn onto serving plate to serve.
