Peanut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 tsp. soda
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 to 2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. shredded coconut
1 c. salted peanuts (Spanish)

Preparation

Cream the shortening, soda and brown sugar.
Add eggs.
Add flour, soda and cream of tartar.
Add vanilla, coconut and peanuts.
Drop onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 11 minutes being sure not to overbake.
