Easy Chocolate Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 1/2 c. cocoa (1/4 lb.)
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 c. hot water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine
    sugar,
    cocoa,
    salt
    and 1/2 cup hot water in three quart
    saucepan and stir until smooth.
    Add remaining 1 1/2
    cups water
    and stir.
    Bring to boil.
    Boil 2 minutes on medium\theat. Cool.
    Add vanilla.
    Put in jar with tight lid. Keep in refrigerator for ice cream topping or chocolate milk.
