Picante Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. tomatoes
    4 tsp. sugar
    2 c. chopped onion
    2 tsp. salt
    2 cloves minced garlic
    1/2 tsp. coriander
    6 jalapeno peppers, chopped
    1/2 tsp. cumin
    1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Scald, peel and chop tomatoes; add all other ingredients and cook about 25 minutes (until thick enough) and place filled jars in boiling water bath canner and boil for 10 minutes.
    Makes 12 (1/2 pints).
    Add peppers to taste while cooking, for desired heat.
