Date Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. dates, chopped
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cut dates in half if you do not have the chopped.
    Melt dates, margarine and sugar.
    When dissolved, cook 8 minutes on low heat.
    Remove from stove.
    Add other ingredients.
    When mixture is cooked, roll into balls and then roll in powdered sugar.
