Ingredients

1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
16 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Early in the day:
Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Grease cookie sheets.
Into large bowl, measure all ingredients except chocolate chips and nuts.
Mix with spoon.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop mixture by rounded teaspoonful 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet.
Cool on wire racks.
Makes about 4 dozen.
