3/4 c. butter Crisco
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 c. self-rising flour
2 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Cream butter Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl.
Blend until creamy.
Blend in egg.
Add flour gradually to mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes for chewy cookies, 11 to 13 minutes for crisp cookies.
