Gary Dean'S Favorite Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. 90% lean hamburger
    6 medium potatoes
    1 to 2 lb. cheese (we use American)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a small skillet, saute onion; set aside.
    In a large pan, crumble and brown hamburger meat.
    When well done, add salt, pepper, onion and 1 can of soup.
    Heat until very warm.
    Peel potatoes and slice lengthwise into thin strips.
