Caramel Kisses - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. dark corn syrup
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. light cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Slowly cook sugar, corn syrup, butter and light cream together until 250\u00b0 is reached on candy thermometer or until a firm ball can be formed when a drop is placed in a cup of cold water.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla.
    Pour into a buttered 9-inch square pan.
    Cut into small squares when cool.
    Wrap individually in wax paper.
    Yield: about 36 Kisses.
