Barley Oven Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    1 c. quick cooking barley
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. shredded carrot
    1/2 c. total green onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/4 c. toasted wheat germ
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. parsley
Preparation
    Simmer water, barley and salt for 15 minutes.
    Saute onion, carrot and oil.
    Add to barley mixture and rest of ingredients. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
