Roast Beef Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 lb. beef roast
    salt and pepper
    1 onion
    4 potatoes
    6 carrots
Preparation
    Rub roast well with salt and pepper.
    Brown on both sides. Place in a covered roaster and cook at 325\u00b0 for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours.
    The last hour add the potatoes, onions and carrots.
    More vegetables may be added if cooking for a crowd.
    Green beans are good, too.
    Fix your meat and set the timer on your stove; when you come home from work or shopping, put in vegetables.
    You can have a good meal with little work.
