Mom'S B&B Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 medium cucumbers, sliced
    10 onions
    3 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. ginger powder
    1 tsp. turmeric
    3 c. sugar
    1 qt. vinegar
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt over cucumbers and onions; let stand 3 hours. Drain off accumulated liquid.
    Add celery seed, mustard, ginger powder, turmeric, sugar and vinegar.
    Cook until mixture is boiling.
    Put in sterilized jars and seal while hot.
    Makes 6 to 8 pints.
    These are very easy to make and delicious!
